Wedding colors & uses

I'm doing bright tropical colors like red, orange, yellow and maybe a splash of pink.

 

The design on our invites was red

I tied the buddles together with a red ribbon

We're going to have red, orange, yellow and pink gerber daisies for centerpieces.

I'm going to use all these colors together in my bouquet

I may do table clothes and chair bows in gold-yello (haven't decided this yet)

Red orchids (fake) in my hair

My dress is ivory/beige-y

My FI will wear a beige suit and white short - I imagine we'll do a red boutineer (sp?)

We'll have red and orange rose petals down the aisle (I think)

We'll put small red, orange and yellow flowers on our cupcake tiers

We're doing small palm fans as favors and I'm going to tie these with the same red ribbon I used to tie my invites together

 

Red is the main clor for us for a few reasons:

1. I love red.

2. It's bright and tropical.

3. It is the primary color of Indian Weddings.

This is what I am leaning towards right now:

 

Rich orange with a little yellow and green

 

I think my flowers will be mango calla lilies

BMs will have white calla lilies and wear some sort of green or maybe burnt orange.

I think chocolate brown and pink.. brown is the base color like for he linens, pink for everything else.. like flowers, bm dresses, placecards, ribbon etc

My sister is doing a similar combination in her wedding next month. I think it is going to be beautiful!
