Suzanne Morel - few questions

Hey Ladies!

 

I was just reading the 'wedding contract' and it mentions that Suzanne would not be able to come to the resort to do our hair/makeup UNLESS she books a room?? That is totally insane - is anyone doing this?? How far is she from the resort??

I had two ladies from her salon come to my room in June to do our hair. I dont know if Dreams has changed something with vendors but it wasnt an issue a few months ago with her coming to the hotel.

I had 2 ladies come to my room at the Westin at the end of June. How many people are using her services? If you have a lot, you should be able to work it out.

Is it her contract or the Riu contract? She told me that if she gets it worked out with the Riu she will come, otherwise send her van to pick us up. She said she is very close.

I am also getting married at the Palace...Daniela told me I cannot bring any outside vendors onto the Riu property unless they book a room. (SOOO stupid, know) I am also getting my hair done by SUzanne and this is what I was told when I asked if I could bring someone to my room.

Suzanne's salon is supposedly a 5-10 min. taxi ride away or she will send a van to come get you.

Yup, its the RIU contract!! As I progress in this planning, I'm realizing what a rip off these resorts are lol!! I am getting married at 4pm that day!! At 11, we'll be heading to the disco - what about you?? Two canadian brides on the 16th, neat lol!

I think they do that so the guests will use the spa services...it's so dumb! I was willing to pay the day pass for them to come, but Daniela said no!

I am getting married at 2..I am assuming we'll head somewhere at 11 for sure!

Excited?? LOL - this site worries me because brides are doing all these fabulous things and I don't really want to LOL. My main concern is getting the boys suited up and even that's looking like a challenge!! When do you fly out?

We leave Oct.11. I am very excited to leave!
