A good friend is turning 30 in a few weeks. I am already helping host the party for her. I want to give a special gift, but am at a loss. We usually do spa treatments, etc and i kind of wanted something "commerative" of the occasion that she could keep.

 

I also can't spend a billion dollars, I'm thinking $50 or less, because we just bought the house and I'm spending a couple hundred on the party.

 

Any thoughts?

How about a locket or Tiffany-style bracelet that you can engrave. If ya'll have been friends for a long time you could make a scrapbook of your fav memories. And if you're not crafty there are lots of sellers on etsy.com that have premade scrapbooks and you just add in your pics. Or how about a giftcard/save the date for something fun for ya'll to do together like a cooking class.

What about a necklace or bracelet? Jewelry that comes from someone you care about is always extra special!
