I don't know if this is real or not but I was on craigslist tonight looking at the North Carolina list and I saw this ad! If anyone is near this location maybe you could see if this poor dog has just been left there! I am just worried this dog will be taken by the wrong person!!! And I don't know who to contact, I don't want it to go to one of the high kill shelters!

HOLY CRAP!!!! That is so wrong. I don't live anywhere near there, but I almost want to call the cops or an animal protection agency. If that is for real then I am really sad! The owner should be tied up with a kennel to see if someone will take him/her in. People are such assholes!

I'm emailing all the rescue organizations I can. I'm in this area & we are having terrible storms. it's way too late & stormy for me to drive there & do anything. I'm alteast an hour away. I can't beleive they'd leave the dog at all but especially in this weather.

Thanks Morgan! I can't believe this idiot! My dog will be tied out come take it and all it's stuff. The poor thing isn't even a year old! It's not often that all of a sudden you become homeless, people should really put more effort in finding a good home before they become desperate! I am just thinking that some sicko will come take the dog, even though I know there are great people out there who will probably have already saved the dog...but I always think the worse!

i looked it up & it's about 1 1/2 hours from me. I emailed a few cocker rescue organizations. I don't know what else to do. I'd hate to call any of them at 10:30pm.
