small wedding party- order?

For anyone who has already had their ceremony, I would love to hear what you did for walking down the aisle.

 

We are only having one bridesmaid, maid of honor, one groomsman, best man, and ring bearer.(our son)

I'm trying to figure out how we should walk down the aisle. I saw a post online somewhere, that they suggested everyone walking down single, then meeting groom at alter. If I choose to do this, would it be better for boy-girl-boy-girl order, or both the guys, then both the girls?

I also saw that the groomsman usually don't walk the aisle at all. I'm so confused! Thanks for your help!

I did not have my ceremony yet, we have a small wedding party, 2 fg, 1 rb, 1 moh and 1 bm. We are not having the bm walk down just the rb and the girls.

We had 1 MOH, flower girl & 1 BM. My husband & BM didn't "walk" down the aisle. Since they walked with all the guests to the ceremony site, the WC just placed them at the alter. At the start of the ceremony, my MOH walked down 1st and then the FG.
I say do what you want to do since its your wedding! Have them walk how you want them. LOL!

I personally plan to have the BM , MOH and Groom waiting at the alter and I be the only person walking down the aisle. I do not want a long procession, but it is really up to you.

Why don't you have the best man standing at the alter with the groom, and have the grooms man walk down with both the MOH and BM and ring bear to follow?

I have my MOH and BM and FI has just his best man. We will either have the best man stand at the alter with FI and the girls walk down alone individually, or the best man can escort both girls. We have 2 ring bearers and 1 flower girl. I'm thinking I will have the ring bearers walk down with the FG together.

I guess we can try it both ways during the rehearsal and see what looks better.
