Exploring DW!

Hey everyone,

 

I'm Kim from Houston. For the past year I have been planning a Dallas based wedding and am exhausted with how much everything is costing. I am laid back and just want things to be simpler and cheaper! My FI and I are paying for mostly everything ourselves so I am trying to budget EVERYTHING!

 

I am currently exploring DW options and found this great forum. I hope to speak with all of you soon!

My way of thinking is to spend the money on things that are the most important to you, and really cut back on the things that aren't. This forum is awesome to get great information and ideas. Here's a suggestion:

 

After you know what your budget is, sit down and write down everything that you will need to pay for - dress, photography, venue, caterer, florist, etc. Then, figure out which are the most important things to you, and which ones are not as important.

having a DW was teh best decision I have ever made! There are lots of all-inclusive resorts that are very reasonable, especially considering what you get for the money.
