I am so sorry to hear that. At first I dealt mostly with the assistant wedding planner and I believe the marketing coordinator of Pacific Monarch. Between the two of them I got everything I needed. I did not secure a date at that time because I was told they were only booking for 2009erto get all the information. The chapel is beautiful and I would love to have my wedding there but it seems the required number of guests has changed and I will probably not be able to meet the criteria. Good luck! If you want to give it one last try, see if you could speak with Vanessa the Wedding Planning Assistant

Hello Brides,

I had my wedding at Cabo Azul in late Sept '08. I am very late in getting my reviews up (too busy enjoying married life!). Our wedding was amazing. The resort is spectacular and the hotel staff is wonderful. The chapel is unreal. I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.

That said, I could have done without Sergio and his general lack of attention, professionalism and responsiveness to our requests and needs during the planning process. I know it's Mexico and they are on a different time table than Americans but waiting a month for a response is unacceptable. I am sure they have lost a lot of business in the process.

We hired a local WC company and they dealt directly with Sergio and his team, alleviating a lot of our stress. Vanessa is the assistant and much more responsive to emails (usually within a day or two). Had it not been for Sergio, we would have enjoyed our wedding planning process much more. Details to follow in my review.

As for vendors- we broght our own photographer with no problems.

Hi Ladies,

I originally was going to get married at Cabo Azul, but there vendor possibilities were too limiting. I decided instead to get married at the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar. I must tell you, the difference in service at the Sheraton compared to Cabo Azul is HUGE. So far, the Sheraton has absolutely gotten back to me about every detail and I am very impressed.

That being said, if you do not hear from Sergio let me know. I still have all the info that he sent me about having a wedding at Cabo Azul.

my main concern with cabo azul is that you are not allowed to bring in outside vendors...at least that was the policy when i last spoke to sergio.
I wouldn't worry about Sergio -he is very professional and he will get back to you.... The thing here in Mexico is that the world practically shuts down for two weeks around Christmas... Many businesses close and people leave to go visit family....

I know Sergio's assistant, Vanessa, has been gone so he has had double the work load... Rest assured that after the holidays it will be business as ussual.

Regarding "outside venders" - they work with many venders, the ones on their approved list - There is a great selection of Photogs and Videopgraphers to choose from...
