we on;y had 8 people with us, was had like 6 more people trying to get in the front gate from cancun (friends of ours) they were there for about an hour and a half, i finally got a call 15 minutes from when i supposed to be at the alter, so i ran down to the front desk to find out they left. They later told us that the gaurds at the gate called teh police on them, they didn't know why. But the taxi guy told then to leave, just for there own sake. That was a mess. But an hour and a half, come on, we even told patricia (the wedding planner) that they were coming.

we got pictures from there photo guy, italian guy with glasses, really classy. He did a great job, he took a wake of pictures, we took 60 home in print, and all 250 of them on cd for just under 800. Not to bad. Great job with the gazboo decorating, didn't like the red carpet to much though, kinda looked orangey, and it was a kinda rugged carpet, so it looked like it would snag the dress, so we said no to the carpet. There is a jsut married cart that picks the ladies up and takes them down to the beach, the guys get to try to walk past the bars without temptation, didn't work out so good for me. Al in all it was a great time, eveything went great, and when it wasn't perfect, what the hell were in mexico!!

drinks. You have to try the electric lemon, its like a lime green slushy!! I also liked the baleys slushi, and ammereto sour slushy, great drinks. I think i started to speek mexican after about 10 of these...:) Eveything in this resort is spotless, really clean. And if you get your room and you don't like it because of the location, or its too loud because of the party pool, or you just want the third floor, dial 0 on the phone and ask for the front desk, they will change you. We got a room right across from the party pool, and i really enjoy the afternoon naps with my wife, if you know what i mean, they changed us to another room, 3rd floor, great view, and quiet.

I have a few questions for all the brides/couples that had the private beach reception: how was the setup for it? did you go with what was included in the per person price..or did you bring your own centrepieces etc? I would love to know how it was and the experience you had.... also, Patricia told me its only for 4 hours, did time fly how did you fit everything in to the 4 hours, eg: dancing eating speeches etc... Im so confused and think that 4hours isnt enough. Looking forward to your answers and advice.

We did it...it was short and sweet, just how we wanted it, but still romantic. I still cried! And yes, all four people still sign a certificate.

Luli,

I was a no-fuss Bride, did not bring my own stuff down.. It was simple, but still beautiful. We did not do a lot of the traditional stuff...apart from the garter and bouquet and first dance, there was nothing. No cake, none of all the other dances, and no formal speeches. And the four hours still flew by!! With so much delicious food, all people did for the first two hours was eat. then they were too full to dance! I would've liked to have had another hour. You might be able to pay by the hour. It was fine though...the lobby bar is beautiful, so we just headed over there and kept the party going.

I have not posted pics because I don't think I have the points to do so. If any of you want pictures of something specific, send me your email and I will see what I can do :)

Leslie
