I love it! Yes, the date is a little light.

 

One other thought, just for the sake of argument - are green and blue your wedding colors? Because if you're going with say, blue and fuschia or something, I'd make sure your logo matches.

 

But I love it!

In order to make the colors more transparent you need to change the opacity of the font. What program are you working in?

Thanks for the feedback. I have fixed the bolding of the date, is this better? Still doesn't look 100% right to me overall, what am I missing? I have been making it in powerpoint. I have tried to lighten them by using the translucent button, but it appears lighter but hte shade is darker and no longer matches. I'm stuck
