I started loosing sleep last week ;-)

 

We are having a cocktail (with drinks and appetizers) at the Sports' Bar Terrace and our dinner/reception is at La Laguna.

 

I will definitely post a review and pictures when I return!

Rachel, on the previous page (I think it is) someone (maybe Stephy) posted pictures of the two different private reception options.  The good thing for you, Stephy is have hers at La Laguna and I'm having mine at Gran Azul at the end of April, so you'll get a review on both in the next month and a half!

 

Stephy, 5 more sleeps...oy!  I would be SO freaked out!  I totally get the "losing sleepy piece," I hope you get some sleep in the next 5 days though!

 

We got our "invoice" from GP tonight.  Surprisingly, it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be!

Did the coctails before dinner have an extra charge like the dinner for a large group?

Drinks only: 5$/person

Appetizers and drinks: 14$/person

*Service is for 2 hours.

 

You get to pick 12 different appetizers, if you decide to go that route.

I did not know they sent a bill, did you order your flowers etc over email?

I am trying to clarify all the costs if someone can help me. We are having 60 to 80 people

 

Base wedding package (max 8 people) plus any extras( flowers etc)

$20 pp extra on the package

$14 pp for cocktails and appys

$60 pp for private dinner

 

Does that sound right? 

 

Can we just do the buffett for dinner with that many people and have cocktails and appys and dancing after that in a private location???

 Yes, they do.  I just received mine last week for our wedding next month (one month from today!!!!!).  I did all of my "ordering" via email.

Rachel, this sounds right.  With that many people attending you cannot do anything other than a private dinner from what Rocio has told me.  I'm pretty sure anything over 40, you HAVE to do a private dinner.  The pp dinner cost all depends on what menu option you pick.  When we picked ours, the cheapest on they had was 50 usd/pp.  I think the highest is like 65 usd/pp.
