HELP!! Flowers for my Nov. wedding

Hi girls,

 

I am getting married in November & i haven't seen anything that I like for centerpieces. My colors are chocolate brown & light blue. I am trying to go clean & simple with square vases. Any suggestions would be WONDERFUL.

hey there! centerpieces are still stressing me out, so i feel your pain!

 

i know that i am definitely using sunflowers, which i am currently obsessed with!! i think sunflowers would definitely mesh well with your color scheme as well as the season. here are some photos i google image-ed for ideas...they're not all appropriate for square vases, but i think they are pretty! good luck!

Im just using floating gerber daisies. And using the blue flat marbles.

Kelly, I am using the same for my centerpieces...except I'm doing black river rock in the bottom of the vases.

Why don't you use brown cappuccino calla lilies and blue marbles for the vase, like one of the girls said? Or maybe colored water.

I'm gonna attach a file with a couple of pictures of the brown calla lilie so you can check the color. And yes, I know they look like chocolate made, but they are real!

Hydrangeas are blue and would look good in a square vase. I don't know about availability where you will be though...These do come in the real-touch silk if you wanted to make them and take them with you.

 

I think this would look good with a brown satin ribbon around the vase or some brown curly willow for dimension:

I LOVE this look with just flower petals! You could use colored glass vases and candles and/or stones/marbles to accent the petals.

We had the same wedding colors last October. I stressed for weeks on finding the perfect square vases but in the end chose to go with what my wedding coordinator had available. We brought down blue sea glass (heavy), fake orchids, white floating candles and white pillars. (we could have bought all from coordinator and just brought flowers or used fresh but saved a ton of money)
