Hello all sorry I wasnâ€t able to give you my review until now. We got back on the 9th. We were there October 1st thru the 9th. First off the weather was nice. 90â€s and sunny everyday. Ok it was a little hot but I am not complaining because it was cold and rainy at home It was windy too but it was nice because it was refreshing.

The food was AWESOME! We didnâ€t go to the Italian restaurant but I heard that was really good too. Drinks of course were good too wink.gif

The staff was very pleasant and really enjoyed their service.

Sandra ended up being my wedding coordinator. I know others on here thought she was really nice but I was a little put off from her. She was rude to my photographer. Not sure why? They are just weird about you having outside photographers I think. I went by all their rules about getting them a room and everything? She wasnâ€t rude to us but I didnâ€t like that she was rude to my photographer because she did not deserve that.

But my wedding turned out wonderful and that is all that matters.

The minister was very nice. I liked what he said and I loved the writing on the certificate you get it is very nice.

The flowers were pretty and fresh looking.

I would defiantly go back there it was a really great place!

I canâ€t wait to get my pictures to share them with you all

Wow, I can't wait to be there where I read all those great reviews! I still have a hard time choosing my reception location. I don't know how much it cost. We have the wedding in paradise. Do they charge extra for a reception at el patio? Do they charge extra for a reception on the beach? Ladies do you recommend a location? and how much was it? Thanks!

My photographer was Lidya Solemidt. I found out the reason I had Sandra is because Jacy was on her honeymoon. I know that because Lidya was Jacy's photographer. :P

Hi ladies. I am still reading all this info on this forum. So many useful details here!

I might be off topic but I can t seem t o find any information about the cost of a reception on the beach.

We have the wedding in paradise package for 15 people. I think we pay 20$ per person to eat at any restaurants but :

Do they charge for a setting on the beach?

Thanks!

Oh I love Lidya's work! I had contacted her when I was looking for a photog. Can't wait to see your pics! I didn't know Jacy was getting married either! That would be awesome if we could sneak a peak at Jacy's pics on Lidya's blog. Hehe

We had the complimentary package and added a private dinner (menu choice of $18/25/45). We had ours in the wedding gazebo but could have also had it on the beach. It was awesome, btw! I am still here at DPA so I can fill you in more when I get home. We leave tomorrow.

Thanks! I can t believe you took the time to answer my questions when you are still over there. That s awesome!

So if our guests pay for their supper (17,25 or 45 $) we can have the reception on the beach right? With no extra charge for the setting, waiters or anything?

I read somewhere that it was about 700$ for a private reception!

If it is just around 20 $ per person to eat on the beach , I think I will change my first choice(el patio) for the reception on the beach! It makes it more special. I just did not want to pay 700$ extra for it!

Congrats again! I am glad to hear that you had a great time.
