Dying your wedding slip

Does anyone have instructions on how to properly dye your slip? My colors are aqua and mango... would it be tacky to color the slip my favorite color pink-- just for a few pics w/ the gown up a bit...

i personally love the idea that you have a special color that you want to use that is not part of your wedding colors.

 

my fave color is lavender, but my wedding colors were aqua and chocolate. i think it would be fun to use your "signature" color underneath

Our color is aqua/turquoise but my crinoline will be pink. I thought about doing it in aqua to match - but I think everyone who knows me even a little would ask why it wasn't pink...lol.

 

My crinoline needs to be longer (by about 8 inches - I ordered it off ebay) so I went to the fabric store yesterday to buy tulle to lengthen it. They had tulle in EVERY color imaginable. So instead of dying my slip (and worrying about dying my bathroom and washer pink in the process!) I'm just adding coloured tulle.
