ok i just sent another e mail.when the manager of PR tells you someone will contact you and don't it's a problem

 

here is some of it. My FI trip ended up cancelled but had he gone they never got back to confirm site visit that gabriella previouly scheduled and told me to confirm with reyna week of.

 

 

 

 

As per our conversation earlier today, you assured me reyna would get back with me today. SHE HAS NOT. How can I plan a wedding, if I can get no responses. I have been trying for over 2 weeks to confirm a appointment that has already been scheduled. Which, now is to late! Mt fiance had to confirm his itinerary with his company by end of business today.

 

I am very upset regarding this issue. Again, this appointment was made months ago with Gabriella. How can I trust my wedding to you at this point? And why should I bring 50 guests to this resort. Your weddings have grown due to reviews. Many of us booked from recommendations from past brides on a wedding forum. Many of these brides are now upset from lack of response. Do you think the brides on forum now are going to choose your resort with so many that are planning voicing concern?

 

I would like the contact information of who is in charge of the del mar, over your department and the weddings please.

Gail - Sorry to hear you're having so many problems with Reyna...I never met her so I can't really comment...all I can say from my end is that I am STILL waiting for my apostille that was supposedly sent my way two weeks ago. I haven't even bothered trying to bug Reyna for it since I figure I am pretty low on the priority list since they already have our money. I hope they sort this out for you soon.

thanks, I'm generally very easy going kind person. I am not trying to be a bitch, but I am concerned. This is stage of my final planning and no responses and he was to leave at 4am. i am worried she is not able to handle it all and how will actual wedding be then??

 

Add in travel alert now for flu- everyone expressing concern. already delt with panic over violence

How frustrating! We are all here for you to vent whenever you need! I know they work seperately, but if you don't hear anything from the Del Mar/Beach people for further help, maybe even try going to the Maya/Lindo people. They will probably tell you that they work with weddings seperately, but it's just another possible avenue if you don't hear anything back! I say, hit up all the people you can possibly think of until you get the reponse you're looking for.

 

As for the guests, I think the outlook you gals have taken is the best for your sanity! Yes, it'd be nice to have everyone there on your special day, but if it's goign to end up being more of a stressor, I say let them be. As long as we're all happy, that's what we need to worry about!!

 

BTW ... DRESS IS IN!!! Going for first fitting Sunday! So excited!! Everyone else has their attire and I'm the only one still waiting for mine! Finally!!!

Gail, I would call the resort at 9am tommorrow that's what time the manager's and everyone usually get in (just holla at the front desk you want the manager of the hotel)- no more being nice use those BE-A-UTIFUL lungs of yours Tell them to get their donkey's in gear!

I hear ya Gail, there were a few times in the two weeks before we left that I had sent Gabriela emails and she took quite a while to get back to me and I was starting to panic a bit too. Thanks so much for the offer about the certificate w/apostille, I will definitely take you up on that if I don't have it by the time you leave (which at this point wouldn't shock me lol). You're the sweetest!

 

I can't believe it about this flu either, isn't it mostly affecting the Mexico City area? Why is everyone concerned with the entire country of Mexico? I think if people just travel safe and smart then they'll be fine. I hate the way the media likes to sensationalize these things.

Danielle - aww you're too sweet too! hehe thanks for your offer! It's so frustrating you know? I want my legal paperwork so I can start changing my last name over on stuff and it's kind of hard to do when I don't have an apostille making it "official" here in Canada. Technically I'm not married to my DH in Canada without it, it's starting to tick me off a little lol.

I did speak with PR manager yesterday. Just got e mail here at 1230am from her after last e mail to manager. CAN'T BELIEVE IT- she says sorry sorry over and over with how busy she is and sorry so long to get back so late in answering questions... SHE STILL DIDN"T ANSWER THE ANY Questions though> she is ON CRACK. WTF!! I give up. F...them, We together, I think know more of what is going on. so i will plan with what we know and they will go with it and honor it or I WILL GO NUTS- so kathy when you have to come get your apostille in person, you can get me out of jail. Not worried, cause I will have company. Danielle will be there waiting for me. LOL

Let's all hope the flu slows down. The travel advisory is avoid non-essential travel. Isn't our wedding essential? I am emailing guests to let them know it's ok to cancel if they are worried but the wedding is still on at this point. I am just concerned with guests bringing young kids down.

 

I had my first dress fitting so I need to use my dress!!!
