Has anyone every been to a DW where the groom (&GM) were wearing Kilts??

(I'm actually Scottish so it's not as random as it may seem at first!)

If you rent outfits are there company's that allow you to take them abroad for a week at a time??

Any advice on this issue greatly appreciated!!

Many Thanks,

Jocy

Had a friend who's brothers wedding had kilts in it. Do you want them in your family's plaid? If not you or a local seamstress could probably create them rather simply. Plus you would not have to worry about them being to hot cause you could buy the lighter weight plaid. The one you rent are the super heavy weight ones....

I've seen pictures somewhere. The Knot maybe?

I love kilts, but would be worried about them being hot.

I found these companies online.

Kilt Rental

Kilt Rental specialists in USA

I just searched for kilt rental.

Depending on how long you will be gone, you might have to pay more. We would have had to pay double rental for being gone a week. It actually turned out cheaper to buy suits.

If your FI will need a kilt in the furture, he might want to go ahead and purcahse one.

Thank you so much for the helpful websites and suggestions!!

I shall start my research!!

(ps It hasn't occurred to FI about the heat factor yet...he's just to boy'ishly excited about the opportunity to wear a kilt!)

Thanks!!
