Need Gift Idea for 6yo girl

For my niece's first birthday we got her a hardcover collection of Curious George stories, and wrote something on the inside cover. She may not have been able to read them herself yet, but her mom and dad read them to her, and to this day (she'll be four in September) she loves monkeys and Curious George.

I just think children are never too young to appreciate books. They get so many toys from all different angles, I promised myself I would be the "book giving auntie" whenever I had the chance.
