I want to do this but I can't imagine getting it on my face and then having to let the hair on my face grow for months before the next session. Wow I sound like a werewolf don't I? But you know what I mean. LOL.

As for the face, Anny knows more there. I'm kinda wondering the same thing because I think I'm going to move on to that after I'm done with the vajayjay. As for the bikini line, you just shave. They actually tell you NOT to pluck or wax in between - only shave.
My MOH had her face done before her wedding and she said it was never really a huge problem, just a little embarassing at times. But that does make you finish the whole process asap. With my bikini I keep getting busy at work and cancelling the appts - wouldn't do that if it was my hairy face!!!

I did laser - four years later I can say - didn't last. I don't recommend that you waste the money. I was so optimistic and sure did pay a lot!

Since then, I have learned about studies underway to more thoroughly investigate whether some people with weakened immune systems (who may not know they have a weakened immune system) may be negatively impacted. I didn't pay a ton of attention as it was after my experience, but I think they were concerned mostly with areas near glands.

The other thing about laser is that some people I know grew hair back after they had kids - all the hormonal stuff made it come back.

I think as long as your expectations of laser aren't too high it's fine. I assume that there will be a lot less hair for a while. I also assume that I'll have to start waxing again at some point. I just hope it will hurt less because there will be less hair.

I was wondering the same thing, laser or electrolosis?? I heard that if you do electrolosis that you can not expose your skin to sun until all your treatments are completehuh.gif I want to do my underarms so I guess I should do it before the weather starts to warm up. Does anyone know approx. how many sessions I might need?

My friend is having lazor done and the main reason I hesitate to do it is because she said if there are blonde hairs - they are staying in. I am about half and half and I would totally have my arms done or my legs but I apparently can't because its all blonde. Blah...where are the people searching for a cure for hairy blondeshuh.gif LOL

  • 3 months later...

Has anyone has laser hair removal done under their arms?

I shave it, but it reappears same day... I don't want pictures of that especially for my wedding!

I have done waxing before, but even after 6 months of waxing, I was frustrated with it. I would like it gone permanently!

How long until you saw permanent results?

Any reasons not to do it?

Any feedback would be helpful :)

I'm getting it on my bikini line now. No experience with the pits, but I saw results after the first session. I have a 5 pack of sessions and have only had 3. The hair on the sides is almost gone. There is still hair on the top though. I'm going to sign up for my face soon. (Can you tell I'm a hairy beast?)

I haven't had it, but I've been thinking about it. I haven't tried waxing under my arms, and don't think I will because I can pretty much accurately guess how painful it would be (my hair is really coarse). And I don't want to endure that pain and sticky waxing process if it's eventually going to grow back.

My only concern is the price. But I guess in the long run, it's worth it.
