I hope I didn't change too much. I thought this might help it sound more assertive and professional. It took away a little of the "hire me please! and may help it feel more like "i'm the right person for your team." I think it's a good thank you note but I also agree that you should add something personalized from your conversation so that the interviewer might also recall something specific about you. If you want a opinion on 2nd draft -post! I hope it helps... and good luck I hope you get the job!

I've done both handwritten and email Thank You's and have been successful with both when interviewing for jobs.

On the other hand, working as a Recruiter in HR, I love to receive a handwritten Thank You. I receive tons of emails daily, so it's tough to make your Thank You email stand out, but I definitely notice a Thank You card in my mailbox. I make sure to include them with the employee's file. We live in such a fast-paced society now that it speaks volumes when individuals take the time to write a personal note.

I always send a personal thank you card - I think it makes you stand out from the others. With that being said, I am a program manager, and hire project managers, and I thnk the email is great. If you ever would consider moving to San Antonio, let me know

I had the phone interview on Friday afternoon and today is Wednesday.....I am just trying to have patience and stay hopeful!!

 

I am keeping my fingers crossed!!!!
