Random But Fun: Post Your Desktop Backgrounds

I work in front of a computer all day so I try to use my desktop background as sort of an inspiration. Over the years I've found that it's amazing how much these images and photos that surround my workspace can impact and inspire my work throughout the day. So with that said, I thought it would be interesting to see what others have on their desktops.

Now I don't know if any of you share the same passion for world history and it's trends but I've been absolutely mesmerized by the upcoming 2008 Beijing Olympics. And in the wake of these upcoming Olympics, it seems like the American media has made a pretty big effort to air some exclusive programs & news reports briefing us on the Chinese culture and just how important their economic rise has on the American people and the rest of the world around us! So I don't know about you but I've taken a big interest in learning about the Chinese culture and that's why I have a desktop photo of The Forbidden City, the last residence of the Chinese Emperors. Mine changes every once in a while, but right now it is my pup, Tessa when she was swimming in the creek on a camping trip. She looks so regal in this picture. She is waiting on my FI to throw a stick so she can swim after it, but I just think she looks beautiful
