That would be great Julilynn if you have it and can post it! I never thought Cecilia would make a big deal out of it, I just hadn't asked for it yet:-) I too haven't heard much from Cecilia lately...it's taking her WEEKS to get back to me on things...I'm wondering if maybe she's suddenly tied up dealing with extra weddings b/c of the Dreams Tulum closure...? Anywaaay, the resort photographer is Juan Navarro...I personally never tried to contact him, as we are using another photographer. But I do know a lot of girls on this forum said they'd e-mailed him and it took him ages to respond...There may be some reviews of his work on here somwhere too... Since an hour of photography is included in our package, we're having him for the reception only, when the dancing starts, since the other photog we hired will be gone by then:)
julielynn
Sorry guys I don’t have it…I never asked for a copy of the nonreligious ceremony. It might be taking so long b/c I don’t know if Cecilia has it. When I asked her about adding the sand ceremony to the end of our ceremony she offered me the JP’s email. She might have to go through this person to get it…I am not sure.. BTW, the sand ceremony is free if anyone is interested in adding it… Since we are having such a small wedding the photographer was one of our top priorities. I was never able to reach Juan to see his work so I booked Diego from Del Sol. You can see from the forum they do awesome work and are very easy to get in touch with.. Kits55
I am flying my own photographer down to the resort. I've seen the website for the resort photographer and very much want to avoid photos like that. Also, i've read on this forum from other girls that he takes MONTHS to get back to people, if at all. Overall, i'm just not impressed but i also knew i was going to splurge on a photographer before we even got engaged.
Simistar
Hey Maroma ladies! Just got this centerpiece price list (and pics) from Cecilia...so thought I'd post it here... (I think they all look a little bit...dinky...for what they're charging...but maybe that's just me:-) Hmmm...for some reason it won't let me attach the file...maybe it's too big? Anyway, if anyone wants to to see it, maybe just PM your e-mail and I can send it to you that way...
Simistar
Wow -- Cecilia's on a roll this week! :-) She just sent me the non-religious ceremony script...I think she sent me the uber brief version...so I'm sure you can add whatever other elements you want, IF you wnat anything more... Here it is: (I've just copied and pasted, so obviously some of the Enghlish is wonky:-)) Welcome Words, we have come together to be witnesses… Then the minister reads a poem by William Peterson, “ The art of marriage†A good marriage must be created. In the marriage, the little things are the big things. It is never being too old to hold hands. It is remembering to say "I love you" at least once each day, This a short version that I found. It is never going to sleep angry. It is having a mutual sense of values and objectives. It is standing together and facing the world. It is forming a circle of love that gathers in the whole family. It is speaking words of appreciation and demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways. It is having the capacity to forgive and forget. It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each person can grow. It is a common search for the good and the beautiful. It is not only marrying the right person It is being the right partner. Then your can exchange vows: I __ take you__ to be my wife to have and to hold form this day forward in sickness and in health for as long as we both shall live Then Rings And Signature J Then the Minister reads you “apache blessing†les leo apache blessing(tradicional para ellos) pronouncements and wedding kiss
Simistar
Okaaaay, so FINALLY figured out how to post the centerpieces doc! Whew. I guess Cecilia sent it in a weird format that's not able to be posted here...Soooo, I re-formatted it and broke it into two separate docs... A total PITA, but hopefully it will help someone! :-) Centerpieces1.doc Centerpieces2.doc

jodylynn007
Hey ladies... I am one of the brides to be that are being shuffled from Dreams Tulum to Secrets Maroma Beach. I haven't read of anyone else being sent to Secrets though, so who knows... perhaps I will be one of the first from this forum to be married at Secrets. I leave on Saturday (3 days) and my symbolic ceremony is on Wed., Nov 55h. Civil marriage is at the airport on Nov 1st on our way to Cancun. LOL. Anyhow... I will post up a review from a wedding perspective when I return (three weeks from now). Ciao ladies, happy wedding!!

Welcome! :-) I'm sorry to welcome you under such crazy circumstances (you being moved last minute) -- but I can't tell you how excited I am we'll have a review of Secrets Maroma -- FINALLY! :-) (And I just noticed we're both in Vancouver! :-)) Yeah, I don't think many DT brides have moved to Secrets b/c it's adult's only... But whatever info you can give us will be GREATLY appreciated!! I hope that even though it's not what you originally wanted, that your trip and your day turn out beautifully.. And PLEASE, if there's ANYTHING..information, etc...I can send to help you out, just ask!
