What time did most people get married at & why?

we picked 5pm. End of the day not so hot and before sunset.

Ask your Wedding Coordinator for a suggested time based on when the sun sets.

Our wedding is at 3:30. Sun sets at about 5:10pm in Playa on Dec 12. We wanted to leave room for if the judge was late. Now we coul dprobably bump it to 4, but I'm happy leaving it at 3:30. 4-5 is our cocktail hour and pics on the beach and then we have a couple of free hours before dinner.

 

Definitely talk to the WC at your resort!

We picked 5pm too for the same reasons as the first poster!! Beautiful sunset pictures and not so hot!

4:45 for sunset reasons! it was our WC's suggestion

The wedding coordinator at Excellence Playa Mujeres advised me that 5:00pm would be the best light for pictures. That is why I chose that time.

I thought 4pm too, leave time for pictures, dinner, party...

4pm - we wanted it later, but our WV scared me regarding the available natural light for pics, etc.
