to the forum! I recently went to Belize for a dive trip and it was fabulous! We stayed at Belizean Shores, which is a little further north of San Pedro, but absolutely gorgeous! All of the hotel rooms were condos with a fully stocked kitchen and they have a dive shop on their pier, which was great. The reef is gorgeous, so if you have some divers in your group, they will be totally psyched!

Anyone have suggestions other then Victoria House? They have a 30 guest limit(and no exceptions) and we're expecting around 50 people.

I'm a BM in a wedding in Belize this October at Caye Chapel. It's a small private island not far off the mainland. I think they are expecting about 50 guests, if the plane ticket price doesn't scare away too many people.

Caye Chapel is a pretty location. As far as other places on Ambergris go - You may want to check with Mata Chica - that is my favorite place on the north end...really cool. I have the name of two very helpful wedding planners if you would like me to pass them along to you...just email me at [email protected]. I will need to go look up their email addresses and for some reason it's taking a long time to load the pages here today.
