I finally ordered my invitations and I'm meeting with my photographer today to finalize all the details

Hey Ladies,

 

I'll be getting married on 7.18.09 at the Secrets Maroma Beach Resort in the Riviera Maya! Super excited! Couple of more months and I don't have my dress yet but having been looking around and I still need to work with the WC. Good thing is that I have 33 people booked! Yea! Anyone else getting married there in July?

I got a call from my dressmaker that my fabric is in and on Saturday I am going to go see it to make sure everything is good before she starts making my dress. So excited!

 

Checks:

STDs - mailed

Dress - "ordered" - getting it custiom made!

Suits - picked out to order Saturday

Invites - In progress

 

Yea:) Can't wait for July!!

Are you using the resort photographer? I checked out their site and not sure if we will use them or try another.

Hey Nicole!

Congrats! Very excited you are also getting married at SMB. About the photographer that the resort offers...his name is Juan Navarro. You can google him up and see some of his work on his website. The only thing that I have heard is that apparently he isn't the one that always come for the weddings. He has a team of people. I have read good and bad reviews on him and his team so I'm not sure what to tell you. I am purchasing the Ultimate Wedding Package and that includes the photographer, 50 pictures so I will most likely use him. I am going to request that he is my photogrpaher, not one of his team members but I think it depends whether or not he is already booked for the date. I also do want to do a TTD shootout but prob wont be until the following day and I need to find a photographer for that. So I am currently working on arranging the photographer...I'll let you know how it's going and please keep me posted as well.

Hi Girls! We are getting married at Secrets Maroma Beach on July 4th! YAY! Right now we have about 20 people booked so I am super excited! I need to buy all the stuff for my oot bags and of course go shopping for a dress. There is a style called Dakota by Jessica McClintock that I really like and it's only $286! Very simple but looks like it would be flattering and perfect for a beach wedding. I need to make programs and menus....I'm sure a long list of other things but dress, oot bags, programs and menus are the big to do's left.

Hi everyone!!!

 

Just this weekend we confirmed that we are getting married on July 20, 2009 at the Riu Ocho Rios in Jamaica! I am so excited!!!!

 

So far I have done the following:

-Booked the resort

-Booked a travel agent

-Sent out STDs

-Set up Website

-Booked airfare

-Looked for dresses
