I'm so excited about finding an H today. it's the first letter in my new last name so it's one I really needed to find.

the N & M are from cameron stadium (the duke bball stadium)

so far most of my letters have come from duke campus. I will probably make a duke only alphabet. I also want to go up to UNC some weekend & make a UNC alphabet. that might make for a nice graduation gift.

There was nice sized frame at target for $30. it has 3 picture spots, but you could just use the entire thing. I wrote down the measurements, but I don't know where the paper is.

I'm thinking these frames will need to be a custom size. I'm still thinking of the best way to do this.

Once I have an S, i can spell my last name. then i plan on hanging it on the wall. so i hope i can figure out the frame situation soon.

i've considered individual 4x6 frames for each letter.

I found frames. I printed a draft of a name. I still plan to swap out some of these letters.

frame #1

the opening is 19.5 x 4.5

Its a decorative picture, so I had to cut the back open to swap out the picture. It wasn't hard to do. I'll probably tape it back with packaging tape.

This is what it looked like:

frame #2

this one has a family cut out. it's a 3 picture mat, so I need to cut the dividers. It wasn't hard to do with a blade. I think i need to put colored paper behind "family"

What color do you think i should use for surrounding the letters? i just did white for the draft to save ink.

I plan on ordering 10x20 metallic prints from mpix & trimming them ($11)

both were $13 at kohls. it was a sale price, but kohls almost always has everything on sale.
