Welcome!!! I visited PR, but stayed in El Condado and San Juan, but I know you can't go wrong with PR! I loved it!

Ann- Hans and I stayed at El Convento in Old San Juan for a night and I loved it. Its great for business, its small. It has free in room internet access (we had to pay for this at the Wyndham El Condado). They have a "meet the guests/staff" everynight with cheese and wine.. what else, oh! Hans and I also visited the Wyndham San Juan (well, the bar at least), it was amazing!

My company is holding a meeting in PR at the end of April - if I am able to, I can see if I can do any research for you! I think I'll be in San Juan - and I don't know anything about PR yet!

Thanks Everyone for the warm and friendly welcome! I look forward to being a part of this forum. I know I'll need advise along the way! We are going to visit Rincon, PR end of April to check out the area and visit some places to have a intimate beach wedding.

Ann- That's exciting you are getting married at Las Caletas! I was the Maid of Honor of the bride and yes she is a member here- marfa75. Las Caletas is absolutely beautiful, it felt like something right out of TV! Have you visited there yet? How many guests are you inviting? She had about 50 and it was a perfect amount. I highly recommend the Fire Dancers, it was a big hit and really cool to watch them! Make sure you tell your guests that if they get sea sick to take dramamen (sp) or something to help them with that. One of our friends was pretty sick after the boat ride and felt horrible for most of the time. Also, the bride didn't realize how big Puerto Vallarta is nor did I. It's definitely a large city. So it was difficult seeing everyone b/c everyone stayed at different villas and hotels. If you can get everyone to stay in one area or hotel I would highly recommend. Oh, and also if people are transferring through Mexico City, definitely warn them that it is a huge and confusing airport. Many people missed their connecting flight b/c it takes a very long time to get to the next gate. In some cases you have to go through customs/security. We ended up running to the gate and still missed it by 10 minutes then were stuck in Mexico City for 8 hours. sad.gif One other thing tell people to be careful of the water, salad and fruit which most people know but many got some stomach issues. Other than that everyone had such a wonderful time. It's so fun to have everyone love for more than one day away together! You are going to love it. I can't wait to see your pictures. Let me know if you have any other questions. And I'll keep thinking of others things I can tell you.

now was I suppose to respond to everyone this way or just you Ann? I'm still learning....
