I've heard that when they do the renos, they're very modest about it and most people don't even notice - i.e. they close off a section, so its not like your room is going to be right in the middle of it! I don't know this for sure, but that's the word on the street!

they have been doing construction now for months and most people dont know about it...most of it is cosmetic so not so noisy/destructive...also, i heard a rumor they may be done by june.

 

i am going down there in about 2 weeks so i will take pics and check out noise, construction etc.

please let us know!! i am worried about it as well... i have a ton of guests coming down and i'd hate for there to be construction during their vacation!

i dont think there is anything to be worried about...alot of people have been down for their site visit and did not even know it was going on.

When I was down there in January, our room was right next to a section that was closed off for renovations. It wasn't noisy at all and they blocked off the area totally. You did hear some stuff during the day if you were walking by, but nothing that was too bad.

That's good to know... especially since your room was next to the construction area. i wouldn't mind the construction either as long as it doesn't start really early or inhibit good photo taking locations.

 

I can't wait to see the final product... Tammy can you take pics of a renovated room please?
