Cake in face tradition

OK girls, you know the tradition of rubbing a piece of cake in each others face? Well I'm thinking I'm going to have to do this to Cain.. He's driving me nuts about this cake thing. I made the HUGE mistake of asking him what he wants to do about the cake, he said cupcakes and with blue icing.. Now I'm trying to figure out an alternative.. His idea, my idea.. what is your thoughts.. (I should say that I should have NEVER asked him)

I say if your going to let Cain put cake in your face then you should be able to pick it. That is the only must of the wedding for me, no cake in the face! Kevin agreed and said he wouldn't want to mess up my makeup, he knows that would send me through the roof. I know I am no fun.

Tammy, DEFINATELY yours!! I love that it has a blue tinge to it (or is that just my eyes tricking me?). It's beautiful. Go ahead and tell Cain we all out-voted him!!

Your idea is definitely more elegant. But actually, the cupcakes aren't so bad either...probably better if they were a lighter blue like the cake you have posted. If he REALLY wants the cupcakes...maybe a compromise...a smaller cake w/ supplemental cupcakes...in a less intense blue that you get to pick?!

 

I know for my husband, the cake was one of the only things he cared about and got to pick...and he was pretty serious about it! I guess it just depends on how much he really cares about it.

Yours is way better. The cupcakes just dont look wedding enough. Maybe just dont bring it up and Cain will forget about it!
