Dress from Target???

Recommended Posts

Had anyone gotten their wedding dress from Target? I am not just trying to be cheap. I actually really like the Isaac Mizrahi Eyelet Sheath Gown. We are getting married on the beach and I don't want to have to worry about getting an expensive dress dirty. I want to jump in the ocean and lay on the sand. If anyone wore this dress, can I see pictures. The reviews on Target are really good, but I would like to see the dress on a real person.

hi maura, the only advice i have is that target doesnt do alterations, and i've found that their clothes dont really fit me that well. i didnt buy a "wedding dress" but i did buy an ivory lace mizrahi dress there to change into at the end of my reception. i am almost 5'3" and about 160 lbs, and it was obviously made for someone at least 5'8", the length i kept anyways, at my calves, but i had to shorten the straps about an inch on both sides, and also i had to tack down the V part of the neckline because it was way too big.

so i think as long as you get it and can have it altered to fit you, by all means, save some moolah!

oh, plus, you can always return it if you dont like it in person.

I agree with the girls!

If you like the dress, get it!

Who's going to know you bought your dress at Target?

And honestly, who cares?

As long as your comfy in it, I say go for it!

And if all else fails, if you don't like it you can always return it!

Good Luck!

Let us know how it turns out!!!!!!

I agree the point of a wedding dress is that you feel beautiful in it, and if this dress does that for you go for it. why don't you buy the dress take some pics so you can see how you think you look in the dress and you can also post them you know we will give our honest opinions. Just don't sit on it too long Target dresses go quickly and being the end of the summer they won't be getting more in.
