I'd be really interested to hear this as well.

I just went with the one centerpiece that was included in my package. They will use it on the table during the ceremony and then bring it in and place it on our table for the reception. We are doing our reception at the Italian place. Ariadna said since our wedding is small (14 people) that we could do a reservation at a resturant and then we can do the cake there as well. I have the moonlite package and a reception is not included. I picked the centerpiece DN - 10 but asked for orange and pink flowers.

She mentioned that I should bring music on an ipod to walk down the isle to. Is anyone doing this???

I am getting married December 9th at the Valentin and looking for some advice from you all.  Seems like most of your weddings are closer than mine.  Anyway, has anyone had Veronica as their coordinator??  I have heard a lot about Adriana but I have Veronica...just looking for some reviews.  We still have a lot of decisions to make but it seems to me the add-ons are piling up and in the end it is going to cost an arm and a leg to have a beautiful day.  I have 43 people traveling with us and you would think with that large of a group they would cut some breaks here and there.  Looking forward to some advice from you all!!  Thanks in advance!!

I think if you want music at your ceremony, you have to give it to them on an IPOD and they'll hook it up. From what I understand, music is included in the wedding packages for the ceremony only. If you want music at your reception (private only, they won't allow music and dancing in their restaurants..), you have to either hire the DJ (950$US) or rent their sound system for $550US (3-4 hours).

We have decided to get the sound system and nevermind the DJ.. not worth it in my opinion. I have bridesmaids that will take charge of some games during dinner and will animate accordingly.

I took the Unforgettable package and there is no centerpiece included. I asked Ariadna to quote me on three centerpieces and here is what she gave me:

1) CV-01 - 42$

2) CV-05 - $50

3) DN-08 - $60

I really don't think I'll bother paying those extras.. I am bringing down gavanized metal flower pots and I will shine them up (they're silver) and ask my bridesmaids to put their bouquets in them in the center of each table. I think we'll only end up having 3 tables in total with 8 people/table .. so I'll put another bouquet on the guestbook table and we'll be good to go! I'm also bringing down tealights and "fake" diamonds for centerpiece decor. I'll do a trial picture beforehand to show them what I want and if I'm not pleased with it, I'll figure something else out.

Jamie,

That's what I would have thought!  I'm getting married on May 7, and we have 66 people traveling with us.  The resort has been ridiculous about charging for every single little thing.  We are getting no breaks at all!  I'm hoping that once we're actually down there, they'll be a bit more generous.

I have Veronica as well. I've only emailed her a few times and she's been good about getting back to me within a few days. I would love to hear from someone who actually had their wedding with her though... I've heard no reviews about her either.
