The guestbook is one thing I wish I had time to be more creative with. I just picked up a hard-bound, handmade paper book, and a few paint pens. We have a few artists in the family, so I hope we get back some nice pages! You guys have awesome ideas, I really want to know how the digital photo guestbook works out, Miranda!

We are doing cards too, and the wipe boards too. We are going to put these cards in the oot bags so they have a while to think of what they want to write. Lisa, I saw those cards at Michael's too! That was my inspiration. I ordered ours from visaprint, we are going to put our address on the postcard once we find a new place.

Here they are (my 1st DIY project!! yay!)

The caption on the back reads:

Marriage is more than rings and tossed rice, So grab a pen and send us your memories of the week or words of advice...

I kinda personalized something I found on a website

I copied another bride on BDW and bought a coffee table book about Jamaica (on Ebay) with beautiful pics. I will have the guests sign random pages at the wedding.

The evening of our welcome dinner we are having a BBQ and a bonfire. I am going to let everyone choose postcards of Jamaica and the postcards that I sent during the course of planning (vista print, of course) to write notes to us. I will arrange them in a scrap book when we get home. I think giving the guest time to think and write on the cards is a great idea. I wasn't quite sure how this would work so thanks girls for the game plan!!!

I think I'm going to steal a couple of these great ideas :) I think for the DW, I'm going to use postcards - either made ahead of time thru Vista, or maybe purchased when we actually get to Jamaica since we'll be there several days before the wedding. I'd love to be able to purchase Jamaican stamps and have them mailed back home - but what if someone forgets to mail it, or it gets lost in the mail?! Maybe I should try to collect them somehow at the end of the week?

And then for our AHR, I was leaning towards a more traditional guest book but one that we can insert pictures of our guests. But now I kind of like the idea bout buying a coffee table book on Jamaica and using that instead. Or I could always buy enough post cards in Jamiaca and bring them back home with me so I can assemble all of them into one scrapbook. Decisions....decisions......
