I sent my invitations out back in May (we opted out of STD), so these pics are long overdue.

Originally, I had planned to order my invited through a local invite store, but when I looked at the design I was completely uninspired by what they had to offer.

I ended up buying the stock and envelopes from the Martha Stewart collection at Michael's because it was exactly what I was looking for.

I had my graphic design friend offer to create the design and then when I tried to get it printed at a local print shop, they couldn't get the colour of the ink to match the robin's egg blue trim.

I decided to give it a shot at home and it turned out perfectly!

I printed all 80 invites at home (feeding each piece of cardstock through the printer b/c it was too thick to feed properly) and printed the address and my return address on clear labels (I have brutal handwritting and I was in a rush)

Finally, the pics!

The invitation insert (dates, time, cost, contact) as well as the TA's business card - I mounted the business card on teal cardstock and punched the palmtree out of the same paper and mounted it using gluedots
