There are probably not a lot of November brides still around, so the best way to get the answers to your questions would be

1) go look at the list of brides and send a PM to the november ones (especially the ones who actually posted reviews, they are more likely to respond)

2) read the review of the ones who got married in November and see what they say about the weather

3) start a thread in the Mayan Riviera sub-forum with the subject "Weather in November" and ask for opinions from other November brides. The weather isn't something specific to DT so might as well draw on the experience of all brides in the area.

But before posting a thread like that it would be a good idea to do a search and see if you find something similar (if you do, just add to that thread instead of starting a new one). I know one time somebody started a thread about weather and Paul Schrank, videographer from PlayaWeddings (he did my video) gave a really good description of the different seasons and in his opinion which were best for weddings.

Hey ladies! I finally made it back from my "weddingmoon" and it was absolute paradise! I did NOT want to come home! I wanted to be like all the "transplants" (people from other countries who just up and moved) I met there! :-)

Well, here is my LONG review with some pics...I'll add more as I get them :-)

And you definetly can't go wrong with Rachel's bouquet it was beautiful!
We are still going back and forth with Landy. We have about 42 people for dinner on Friday night and the problem is with Portofino is you need to have a set menu and it only includes one of each-we have friends who do not eat meat and not everyone likes the same things, so we are still figuring it out. They are also having a carribean night on Friday night with a buffet but I dont think Jay wants to do that. It is a bit annoying to figure this out considering Landy takes a week to get back to me.
She did respond that I could get Rachel's bouquet which is one less thing to worry about!

So I was just wondering what you girls think??
It was definitely a little overwhelming. I was expecting the $150 for the ceremony speakers but $365 for the reception! I nearly fell off my chair. Personally, I think the $150 for the ceremony is a necessity...I've been to other beach weddings and was so disappointed that I couldn't hear the vows sad.gif As for the reception, if you are having around 20 ppl I would totally suggest the iPod docking station. It was perfect for our dancing on the beach with 30 guests.

The caribean night was awesome!! The fire dancers were "off the chain" (hehe)...but really...the music, entertainment, and show were all an eventful night...I have some pics below:

Rachel, thank-you for the heads up about the price for speakers. I cannot believe they're charging $365! Ugh. I know that our wedding will be cheaper than an at-home wedding in Ottawa, but geez - sometimes all of the little things really add up. I don't think I had a complete idea how much this wedding was going to cost us when we first embarked on this journey. I think one of our major issues was that more people are coming than we ever thought would (56 and counting... we had 2 more people book last week... incredible). Anyway, we've given up worrying about it. At the end of the day, what's another $365?! Haha. Just add it to the bill!

RE: BOOKING with the worlds busiest wedding coordinators.

I have been waiting a wk for someone to get back to me re: my wedding booking. I have had my heart set on a date for over a yr now and as time strolls on by I JUST KNOW someone either snagged it or will.

I really dont want to have to call but at this pt I guess I will have to. I read on here that they are hard to get a hold of but I didnt think it would be to this extreme. Its very frustrating...

I emailed all 3 links on this site hahaha. PSYCHO?? haha, I DONT CARE.

Anywho.. Just a vent sorry. lol
