Thanks so much ladies!! :)
I was fortunate in that my wedding was the only one on that day, but the following day I watched 3 weddings on the beach within 30 mins of each other, I can't imagine the brides feeling too great about that, especially since they were passing each other during their photoshoot. I must say though the hotel and coordinators do a great job making you feel like your wedding is the only one at Dreams. The hotel gets very quiet after 10.30 so it didn't feel like we were ending too early. Some people partied on at the disco but others were glad to retreat to their rooms after a long day (our ceremony started at 4.30pm). If you are having a dinner reception perhaps 3pm is a little early to start, as Landy told me the kitchen only opens at 6.30 and that was the earliest they could schedule my dinner.

here is my time line so far-it will probably change :)

Ceremony is at 3, so from 3-3:30 ceremony

4:30-5:30 cocktail hour

6 dinner/dancing

I left plenty of time for people to do whatever they wanted-they can stay and have more drinks at the bar etc.

Natalia also told me that you can extend your beach reception until 11

I have read in the reviews that many girls said there were other weddings the same day and they hardly noticed them. Some said that they stressed about it before hand but it ended up not being a big deal at all. I don't think anyone has complained about it, everybody was plenty surprised that it went very well.

You could do a bonfire, or go to the disco. Or you could just gather at the Sugar Reef bar for more drinking and chatting.

If your wanting your guests to have the stuff before they arrive do what I did. I just sent each guest their bag by fed ex and they brought all their goodies along.
I'm going to quote your experience on page 1. We get this question a lot about people sending stuff in advance. I think it's best that they learn from others' mistakes!

I would do a search to the top left-there are tons of threads about both. We are using Claudia Rodriguez and DJ Mannia.
Look through the reviews and see what pictures you like. Most girls talk about who they used!

This message is for past Tulum brides...I am going to decide on my menu and since I've never had their food I was wondering if any of you past brides have any suggestions about what menu you had at your wedding and if you would recommend items or NOT! (haha!)

Thanks for your help and suggestions as always!!
