You might want to try your reflection in a pair of sunglasses. Maybe in your husbands sunglasses? Could be a fun shot, you from his eyes.

I like the reflection idea better than the shadow. I think it's more intersting. I really like the 'from the eye of my husband' type idea with sunglasses. Or maybe a reflection in a puddle on one of your hiking trails??

If there's a wall somewhere across from a building with reflective glass, it would be cool to set up the camera on the wall (or tripod if you have access to one) at an angle that slightly distorts the things being reflected---- then make faces/strike funny poses and set your camera on a timer.... you could even keep the camera in the same place, and move around in 3-4 different shots (each with a different face/pose) and then use PS to super-impose all the "you" images into one photo.... call it "the three faces of morgan".
