Help photographers! placing an mpix order

I'm placing an order from mpix of some of my wedding pictures. do I click the "do not color correct" button or not? I remember Kristie saying something about it, but I can't remember which way it was. it was months ago. She is in Cancun now so I can't call her.

OK I looked online & it looks like I should not let them color correct.

 

Also, there is a way to turn this off with a shutterfly order. it's called vivid pics. But, i haven't found an easy way to shut it off.

yep, i do that sometimes. i left the order in my cart while I was doing other things. When I saw no one had replied I did some googling. Hopefully it was the right choice because I placed my order.

if you are interested, Mpix.com is a website where you can order higher quality prints. I just got an 8x10 group picture & 4 5x7s to display at our AHR.

Yes, definitely do not color correct them because your photographer should have done that for you =)

Yeah I second that, there should be no need for colour calibration through the lab as the photographer should have done it. The only reason to consider it would be the possibility that MPIX's printers are profiled way differently then your photographers - which most likely isn't the case.

Hey, Morgan. How did the pictures from Mpix come out? My photographer recommends Mpix, but I wanted someone else's opinion also.

wonderful! everyone loved the metallic prints. i had them displayed at our AHR. several people asked where they can get their own.

 

it also ships fast.

 

the only negative is the website isn't easy to use & you have to pay seperate shipping for B&Ws
