It was a baseball theme so I guess they were going with the theme.

Oh well, tomorrow is a new day.
I love all of those things. Hang in there sweetie. you're right, tomorrow is another day.

Tomorrow is going to have to be another day!

I had chinese for dinner. It could have been much worse. I ordered steamed chicken and broccoli with the sauce on the side. I didn't even eat all of it, but I did indulge in a crab rangoon, an egg roll, and some of DH's sesame chicken.

I am not off to a good start.

We also have TONS of candy in our house for the upcoming Candy Bar at our AHR. If it isn't here, I don't miss it, but the dark chocolate truffles are seriously calling my name!

Well I was half way decent today. Had to have my Saturday sbcucks (the furbaby go through the drive thru every Saturday after her school, its ritual), then had a few small pieces of pizza ( I know not great but usually I would eat 6) and then had a salad for dinner. So considering it is the weekend that was pretty good for me. This weight loss stuff sucks!

Sometimes I just crave something cold and bubbly, and pop does the trick. Crazy I know, but I am going to do it.
quitting pop was like what i imagine quitting smoking crack must be like!!!!! i used to be addicted to pop too. i cant drink diet pop because i am allergic to phenalalanine. so what i do when i am craving pop (because i too like it for the carbonation) is i switched to drinking sparkling water cut with 1/2 a glass of 100% fruit juice to add flavor. then i weaned myself down to only a splash of juice for flavor. i still get the carbonated drink, but without all the sugar and calories wink.gif

What a great idea. I will have to try that.

I must say that I don't mind drinking water at all, but if I don't have my water jug with me, I don't drink it. When I am at work I drink lots of water, since I take my jug with me, but a lot of the times it stays in the van after work and it goes down hill from there. I did bring it in tonight, so I can start off tomorrow (okay, I guess it is tomorrow now, so today) with a bunch of water!!!

Good morning everyone. I didn't have a great day yesterday because of my FI birthday BBQ. I had a cheeseburger and a piece of chicken and salad. I also couldn't stop muning on the tortilla chips and salsa (it was homemade, LOVE IT), and 2 Absolut & tonics and a glass of wine. I'm a bad girl. Not horrible but I usually do better the first week. I got up early today and went to the gym and swam for 20 minutes but I know I need to do more to work off what I ate yesterday.

I'm actually getting excited about running tomorrow morning. Over the last week I've had way too much to drink and eat and I feel like I've gained about 5lbs... I'm afraid to get on the scale.

I'm going to start keeping track of my calories on Sparkpeople.com. I find it easier to watch what I each when I track everything. I find it surprising to see how many calories I eat in a day, especially when I think that I did well.

As I was out walking today, a guy that was running stopped me. He said to me, Hi, I would like to offer you a great deal on a personal trainer. I see you walking around town often, and I think I can provide you that extra push you might need.

Should I be offended? LOL

I was like wow do I look that out of shape?

He just said, well if you work out with someone than you are pushed more. I said, well I cant really afford a trainer right now, and I actually have a walking partner. We are in training right now. She just is out of town this week.

He gave me his number in case Im still interested.

lol
