I'm in St. John's now, but originally from the SW coast (PAB area), fh is from Corner Brook, and family around Heart's Delight. I've pretty much been all over lol

When I was in college I dated a guy from Trinity Bay. I use to visit NF a lot. It was usually a layover location when coming back from Europe on goverment flights. The people there are very caring and warm.

It's mostly the people from "around the bay" (aka. NOT St. John's lol) that are found to be the most friendly, but I always find friendly people everywhere I grew up in a little community of about 800 people where nobody locked their doors (most still don't lol) and everyone helped out whenever they could. If someone died or lost their home or whatever, the entire community pulled together and did whatever they could. I love it here, and although most of the Newfies are leaving for Alberta, I could never go. I love my little "Rock"
