Welcome Jannae! Our dates are very close to each other, I will def let you know all the details after my wedding! I am just hoping that it won't be brutally hot weather wise!!

Thanks for the travel agent info I will look up both Tammy and Sheryl.

Desiree - will you also email me the spa info jannae asked for? [email protected]

I feel like I am behind on everything, I still haven't chosen a Save the date plan to do so this weekend with FI!

Josie - I am definately with you on the stress of getting over 50 OOT bags down to Mexico. I think it might be costly but I gues I will find out! I also agree with you that to have large OOT bags with small items in it might be a little strange but if it really doesn't matter to you and it makes your mom happy then I would just do that.

Samira - Don't worry, I don't think you are behind, we sent out our STD's about 10 months before the wedding. Do most people know the plan anyway?

Jannae- I actually went with a TA from Liberty Travel. Unfortunately, I can't check online to see who has booked so far, which I'm completely jealous of now! I would love to be able to do that. Also, as for the photographer, I think we're just planning on using the one provided at RPRM. That's awesome if you can get EMedina though...you're pictures will be amazing!

Samira- Don't worry about not having done your STD's yet. Like Lisa, we also sent ours out ten months before, and that seemed to work fine.

As for OOT bags, as I mentioned before that I'm not doing them for our guests, but am planning to do them for my BM's. Since I plan to make them a bit bigger (a large beach bag), I'm hoping I can plan some type of get together with my BM's before Mexico to give them to them; this way everyone can just bring it on their own and it's one less thing I have to worry about. I'm still just trying to think of other things to put in them though. As of right now I'm planning to do a beach towel, flipflops, suntan lotion, chapstick, maybe some type of "activity" book for the flight, and then I'm not sure what else. I'm using this as their gift, so I'm hoping to pack as much stuff in there as possible. Any suggestions?

For now, I am detering the convo with my mom about OOT bags because I can't process it and I'm actually in a wedding on 8-1 (Desirees date!) so I have a lot of stuff to do for that...

Katie, there are so many cute ideas for OOT bag items. I like the idea of hangover kits, coozis, possibly even towels? Are you going to put jewlery in there for them? That's something I'll have to do too :)

Kelly- I didnt even know you won a photo package, that is awesome news!! How did I miss that??

ShellK- I am officially all moved in, well almost, still have to finish cleaning the old place but definitely living with Jason now and I love it!

For anyone that had questions about destinationweddings.com here are some threads you might find helpful: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t46172 there are two but they have the same name: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t43260

Josie- That's so exciting that you're all moved into your new house now! We're actually in the process of building a house, but it won't be done until probably November. I just can't wait to move in! As for jewelry in the OOT bags, I was hoping to do that too. I'm just having a hard time thinking of what kind of jewelry I want to get. Let me know what you decide to do, or what you're thinking!

Josie, I think we won it back in April sometime. I couldn't be more thrilled about it! These guys are all so nice, I think they'll fit in wonderfully with our group.

I spent a lot of time thinking about OOT bags, and just decided that the logistics of it would not work out for us. I couldn't figure out how to get everything down there, especially with all the airline's new baggage restrictions and fees. We are doing something though, because I love the idea of an unexpected little something when everyone arrives. We're doing a travel mug, with a welcome letter, and probably a photo share card. Most likely we will just put them in some cheapy gift bags that will collapse to be flat in our luggage. Josie, I can kinda see why your mom wants a big bag. It will be more practical for everyone to use the whole time they're there. I also can see why you think it will look silly. Thats a tough one. Katie, we're doing the same thing for our bridal party. We got them monogramed beach bags and filled it with travel nail files, gal pal deoderant remover, smashbox lip gloss, a Kenneth Jay Lane compact, sun screen, a travel size toner and moisturizer. My matron and maid of honor are also getting some Amrita Singh earings. The guys are getting a more simple version (insulated back packs, flip flops, ray bans, and crew travel kits). They will definately be getting them before we leave.

Holy crap Desiree! I'm so excited for you! Did you do a planning thread or anything?

Kelly- I can totally relate to your excitement on the photo contest!!!!!!

I originally wanted to do a personalized coozi with a welcome letter rolled up and presented inside (cute, with a bow or something) and that would be their gift upon arrival. My mom really wants to do bags, thus comes the issue of getting them all down there...which is my main concern...but also that a lot of our family & friends are flying down on monday, and we don't arrive until wed. My mom thinks we can "divide & conquer" and have multiple people involved in transporting the bags, IE: Jason's family brings the bags for their side, I bring my friends bags, my mom brings family bags, etc etc...I guess that's not a bad idea but it seems like a bunch of work to coordiate and I'm stressed out about people forgetting to bring bags & then some people are left out and all that good stuff....wow sorry that was so long!

About Jewlery: I am lucky enough to work with an awesome woman who is going to make the jewlery for me and I believe its her wedding gift to me. So she's gonna make necklaces & earrings to match the BM dresses perfectly...which I am very excited about! I think this might be my only gift to them and I will probably present it to them at the Spa Day (before the wedding) that i'm paying for (i think)....I also bought their dresses!

Josie- congrats on moving in!! I don't think the big bag would look awkard not filled up since it is part of the main gift. You could always put a big beach towel in to take up lots of room. That's awesome that you paid for your BM dresses and your doing the spa day. I would love to do the spa with my girls but my wedding is at 3 so the day of will already be a little hectic I'm sure.

Katie, I think my fav oot bag item are the plastic travel mugs with a cute monogram- especially because the guests can use them for drinks instead of the hotels small cups. I also like the beach themed wine stoppers

Desiree- I am so excited for you! your little ticker fish is almost to the end :)
