Good Question. If I do it, I'm going to look for a TTD under $200. If I can't find one I MIGHT use my wedding dress.........but I LOVE it and that makes me nervous!

We also found an awesome shirt for FI @ express & got the groomsmens shirts this weekend as well. I'll be posting those in the next few days when I convice Jason to do a photo shoot for me! hehe

OMG I love that cake topper! So cute! And I've also considered doing a TTD session, but it obviously all depends on how expensive it is. I'm definitely torn between using my real dress and buying another one too. I would love to find another dress similar to my real dress that hopefully won't cost a lot.

Thanks for all of your help in answering my questions. Unfortunately it sounds like we are leaning towards either the Riu Yucatan or the Iberostar Tucan because they are cheaper all inclusive packages. I am a bit bummed about this but with the economy the way it is right now I don't think people will be able to afford to go to the RPRM. The prices came out last week and leaving from Vancouver, BC it was around $2400 for one week. Does this seem high? Do you think it will go down? Lisa, I am curious what your prices were being that you were flying from western Canada as well? If anyone cares to share their prices that would be much appreciated. Thanks again

Edmonton/Calgary - $1821 per adult based on double occupancy, $1431 per child

Edmonton/Calgary - $2350 per adult based on single occupancy

Toronto - $1701 per adult based on double occupancy, $1311 per child

Toronto - $2230 per adult based on single occupancy

 

2 Weeks

Edmonton/Calgary - $2582 per adult based on double occupancy, $2011 per child

Edmonton/Calgary - $3640 per adult based on single occupancy

Toronto - $2462 per adult based on double occupancy, $1891 per child

Toronto - $3520 per adult based on single occupancy

Hopefully this helps. I found when you just looked online it was more expensive. When you call a TA and you have a group going it is cheaper. We also get every 16th person free. So probably in the end 3 people will go for free but hey, it's better then nothin!

Hey Girlies,

 

I'm doing a TTD session. I 'won' our photographers and they'll be there anyways, so why not? I actually bought a dress for it on ebay awhile ago for $35. It was from davids bridal, brand new with tags. Here it is

 

It looks better in person. The only thing is that its a little big on me, and I'm not feeling that into getting alterations on it. I'm thinking about wearing my dress for the TTD, and just wearing a cute white cocktail dress to my AHR. If anybody is a size 6 and wants a cheapy dress, let me know!

 

Trina, don't give up hope girl! We got super scary rates for our trip from our TA for months. Just last week we got the 'real' rates, and they're 1200 for 4 nights and 1900 for 7 nights.
