I'm always more confused when they send you answers to your questions. It's like they never really answer what you're asking and their response just creates more questions.

So, say you get the Caprice package 2010, it only includes 60 people. Do they ever say how much extra it is per person? I think for the 2009 package it includes all of the guests, but they changed it to 60 for 2010.

I would like to have our dinner at Chilis and have a private reception with the DJ. We don't know if we'll have 80 people though. Maybe more like 60. They said dinner is 1 and a half hours long, then dj for 3 hours right? So, if you have dinner at 8:45, you could have your reception there until after 1am? It would be 2355 (2010 caprice package) + 1700 (dj/private reception)?

What do you think girls, does that sound right?

I know, the whole thing is totally confusing to figure out. I have no idea how much extra it would be per person, or if they will charge for extra chairs at the ceremony, etc. They do sound pretty lenient though, because half the girls just say what they want and get their way, whether it be the outside photographer, DJ, or whatever.

My thought is to just try to do everything like you want your way and negotiate with them. If you have 60 guests staying at the resort it's insane to me they would charge you for extra dinners/setup etc, just my opinion though!

PS: Your calculation sounds right to me wink.gif

Sounds easy enough, but I don't know how far apart they are from each other (maybe MsBettyB knows) and I also don't know if there is an extra charge for this. Even if there is an extra charge though, it might not be as much as paying for a private reception.
Riu Palace Mexico is about an 8 minute walk from the RPRM. While I was there, I didn't visit the Disco though.
