TTD - what to do???

After being on here for a while now I really think I want to do a TTD - it'll be fun considering I usually hate my photograph taken but there are some lovely ruins etc and I think it would be really good fun not to mention something to keep that FMIL can't stick her oar into lol

 

Anyway here is the thing, we are skint lmao we are just gonna about make to pay for the actual trip (thanks to me saving every penny and not spending cash like I normally do on people's bday pressies etc). We're going for the package and after discussion we are having to stick with the resort photographer. Whom I'm sure will be great.

 

I emailed him yonks ago and asked for a price for TTD but I've heard nothing from him either via his email or via pm on here.

 

So i'm in a dilema and I need a plan lol if I tell FI I want to do this he'll pull a face and whine so i'm not bloody telling him lmao It'll be a nice surprise (if it happens) and i'll sell it to him as his wedding pressie lmao (I can sell ice to eskimos if I want something)

 

What do you think it would cost for a TTD on its own? and should I do it?

It's usually the same hourly rate that your photographer is charging.. BUT you may want to make sure you like his style of photos before doing it so you don't just look like a soggy mess.

 

Or if you have a friend coming you could have them take some photos. My friend who's good with a camera (and has a nice camera) took some really pretty shots.

I know Caludia charges $800 for a 2 hour TTD session. I didn't think that was *too* bad considering her pictures look amazing for TTD.

I say.... DO IT !!! The pictures ive seen are incredible !!!! Im definately doing it !!!! Im am such a picture person to begin with ....the more memeories i have of our trip the better !!!! I also have a 6 yr old....so how often am i going to be able to go away to an island Hee hee ... Im all for splurging !!!!!!!!
