Actually, I am having the bottom one be a mock up.

So a faux bottom...for illusion. I am having 200 guest.

Ok at first I thought you were a DW and I was thinking you would have a hard time having someone recreate this. So your wedding is in LA?

 

I think it's very elegant. Are you having an all white wedding? I'm a colors person so I think I would have to have some element of color in it.

 

But if your wedding is all-white I think it will be pretty!

I'm having a hard time finding a cake with the right colors. I don't want too traditional....

My wedding is in West LA..

I would appreciate any suggestions though..

Have you talked to the cake maker? I bet they would help you with some ideas. They could take that design you have as inspiration and build it til it suits your ideas.

It's lovely... if you really need some colour, why not have it done in ivory frosting and put some burgundy/wine flowers (i'm thinking orchids or lilies or something exotic) on top to replace the white flowers? And maybe a few placed strategically around the base?
