How old were you when you got engaged?

I was 28 when we got engaged, Thomas was 27 (I robbed the cradle). I'll be 29 when we're married and he'll be 28. I'm definitely glad that we waited. I never had strong desires to be married in my early 20s.

we started dating when i was 22 and got engaged when i was 26. i can't imagine what would happen if i had married at 21.....i'm married and STILL not ready to be a grown-up!

I told my brother he has to be 25 before he get married lol. I am so happy I didn't get married to the guy I was with when I was 21. We were together for five years and I would be miserable.

First time I got engaged I was 27. Had been with the ex for 5 years (since I was 22). I would be miserable too if we'd gone through with it.

 

With FI this time around, I was 30 when we got engaged in March and I will be 31 when we marry.
