I'm a newbie and just wanted to say hi. My name is Amy and I am from Dallas. I just got engaged a few weeks ago and it's been both exciting and stressful.

 

Originally we started planning for a wedding in Dallas but after talking to my fiancee over the weekend we decided that we really want to do a destination wedding. I think we were planning a Dallas wedding for others...instead of doing what we really want.

 

So we are excited about it and can't wait! I've visited a million reception sites in Dallas trying to find the perfect place and now I need to find the perfect resort. We want to keep the cost down for our guests so I think the Rivieria Maya area will work great. It's just a 2-3 hour flight from here. I've been reading all your posts and they are so helpful.
