Anyone use SPANX?

Hello Girls!

 

I'm looking for some true, real, opinions and reviews of SPANX. I've been looking into them to wear under my dress (since I did a little dress shopping yesterday) to smooth out ... well, everything! LOL

 

Please share your experience.

I have never used Spanx, but I do know several of the women on here have used them and rave about them. No personal experience, but I know someone else will chme in!

I bought Spanx and I really dont like the one I bought (I wanted longer shorts), maybe its too small(?)...at first then band rolled a little bit but then i figured out to pull it up higher and tuck it under my bra. I really like the way it tucks and smooths me out.

I bought something similar at Macy's and LOVE it. I am going to try to find one to wear under my dress. It smooths me out and does not roll at all.

that's exactly what happened to me - it rolled. and then the bottom looked like it was cutting off the circulation on my legs. everytime i put them on, i take them off, either in the middle of the event, or before i leave the house.

I have several different Spanx items and I like them for the most part. They really hold you in or smoothe out or whatever. The last time I wore one I took it off though because it made me look really tiny (great) but it was uncomfortable. It wasn't too tight it was just a little too restricitve. I think sometimes I just rather go au naturale and feel the breeze up my dress. If you are thinking about this for the wedding then I would wear it first and see if you really want to be in it with the heat.

I didn't wear it on my wedding but I'm now using something similar because my belly is still kinda loose because of pregnancy and I feel great using it.. I don't get the roll ups from wearing tight jeans
