You should pick up some Bermuda sand while you're there, they sell it in small bottles at the souvenir shops. I think they were around two dollars a bottle, but I can't remember.

what about incorporating something like this in the sand? they would go well, especially with the "linked" hearts part. These are pretty small, but you could probably find something similar in various sizes.
