So I'm pretty bored and watching a show I never watch. America's Got Talent. They're in Dallas, and this very country girl gets up. (I'm not dissing country, I grew up in Alabama and lived in Texas for 5 years and I have a country accent)...anyways this is the convo..

 

Sharon: Where are you from

Girl: Georgia

Sharon: Is that far?

Girl: I don't know

Sharon: How did you get here?

Girl: A plane.

 

How stupid are you that you don't know that Georgia is far from Texas? GRRRRRR!!

I'm so tired of girls either acting stupid or being so stupid on tv. UGH!

Awww....Now I"m bawling. This little boy who is Autistic didn't talk till he was 3 when he started singing and the whole audience cheered so loud and crying. WOW! Totally blew stupid girl away!

I'm glad little boy redeemed your evening of mindless TV. There isn't much to choose from in summer. I hate that it's a reality show, but if you need a laugh check out "I survived a Japanese game show". What some people will do for money never ceases to amaze me!

Okay... so I watched a bit of "wipeout" last night while I was cleaning. The show is totally moronic, but the commentary is hysterical!

Summer TV has been so bad. I'll have to check out the Japanese game show and wipeout, they sound kinda interesting.

 

I too am tired of the stupid girls on TV. It started with Jessica, then Paris, and there's just been more and more of them. Sorry to any Jessica or Paris fans out there. I just can't stand people always pretending to be stupid. I know we all do stupid things, but to get rich off of acting stupid just irritates me. sorry for the vent

I am right there with you on the stupid girls thing. It doesn't do ANYONE any good to show this sort of thing. It gives young, impressionable girls the idea that it's okay to be an airhead, because, look! they are such big successes!

 

TV needs better role models. Smart, articulate, normal sized girls who are kicking butt in the real world.

OMG i did see that last night. i heard her say that and lost it! if she didnt know the exact answer, fine!...but she could have said "oh about 1 1/2 hour plane ride.." or SOMETHING. not i dont know, hahahaha hopefully she was just nervous, ? god knows i have my moments, but come on! hahah
