Should I get an Iphone?

So currently Erik and I are on the Verizon network and are debating if we should transfer to At&t/Cingular network.

 

the plans seem relatively the same. The whole reason to switch is to get the iphone.

What do you guys think?

My FI had the iphone. He really liked it but ended up dropping it in water at work. It stopped working and ATT wouldn't do anything to help him, not even give him a discounted phone. He was so pissed he closed his account with them. I have heard good things about ATT though. I am thinking about switching to Verizon (currently with Tmobile)

I got the iPhone last year and I am very happy with it. The new phone is even faster, lighter and cheaper...a great deal. I would go for it. Regarding AT&T in OC, not bad service except when you go through the canyons.

My brother had one and returned it within a week. It kept freezing on him and stuff...too many programs on it, I think.

 

Yari, is the second version already out? For a phone like that, I think it's good to wait for the 2nd or 3rd version so that they fix all the little problems with it. Glad you like yours though!

 

 

We used to have ATT when they were Cingular and we really liked them...we never should have switched to T-Mo!

The second version is coming out on the 11th. (I think).

 

I have had no problems at all. I know tons of people who have them and are quite happy. I think mine froze once, but I figured out how to unfreeze it.

I've had AT&T for the past 12 years.. (Cingular when it was that too) and recently my service SUCKS!

 

I don't even carry my personal cell with me anymore. I never have coverage, I drop calls, etc. IMO, ever since it switched from Cinguliar back to AT&T the service has sucked big time.

 

I am switching to verizon as soon as my contract is up.

hmmmm, Erik's work phone is Att/cingular, and he says he has less drop calls but the clarity on the phone sucks.....I just don't know. he will go where ever....

Verizon has the LG voyager, with a touch screen too, I just have to wait till Dec. to get it. New every two and it will cost me 149.00.....so I'm debating...

My FI has one and swears it is the most awesome thing in the world.

I guess Im not fussy though. I have a $50 phone that has texting, picture mail, and phone/voicemails, internet and my bill is only $45 a month. LOL. haha. If you want one thoguh, go for it. He always goes on and on about how great it is.
