Cabo Beach Wedding ???

So far I am not wearing any shoes for my beach wedding, I was told the sand is really hot and very hard to walk on. Is that true? I bought flip-flops from aldo to wear just in case.

most resorts will lay down planks and an aisle runner for you if you just ask.

I ditched my shoes as I was walking down to the beach and frankly it was fine...it was too hard to walk in the sand with my shoes! I had them for the reception and that was perfect!!

I have both foot jewlery and flip flops. Just in case.

for the ceremony I wore my flipflops but once the sun went down I was barefoot

I figure at 5:30 when my ceremony starts, the sand won't be unbearable but who knows. I'm roughing it barefoot but my BFF has made me gorgeous barefoot sandals. She is now making them for lots of guest and wants to start a business making them.

 

I imagine the sand depends on the beach you are on. No?

I am having them put down planks so I can wear shoes for the ceremony. I will buy tall platform flip flops for taking pics on the sand and then put my shoes back on for the reception.

I was barefoot and it was later in the day, the sand didn't bother me at all.
