kendra, my suggestion is to have your MOH handle the rest - she can hunt people down to find out if they're coming or not. nobody needs this kind of stress. i had a bunch of friends RSVP to me for the shower my aunt is throwing, and for all they know i didnt know about it, so they wouldve ruined the surprise if it had indeed been a surprise. people are so clueless about etiquette these days - and i TOTALLY blame the internet age for the lack of manners. my own brother sent me a myspace message this morning saying he wasnt sure he could come to my wedding --- why in the world someone would think that could replace a phone call is BEYOND me. my point is, dont forget people are stupid, so that when they do it the right way you will be pleasantly surprised. and as for the bitches who bugged you to have an shower and then didnt have the courtesy to reply ---
